It also means that we have unprecedented product agility.  We can modify, improve, change, or correct the CAD files over time.  No more having to live with a piece that doesn\'t fit well or a part that doesn\'t capture the shape of the original subject. We simply modify the CAD file and print the new parts!

]]> Beta Test The click2detail website is currently in beta test mode.  This means that we are gathering focus group data, testing functionalities, identifying any remaining bugs, tweaking the user interface, and testing the production processes behind the scenes.  Additionally, pricing has not yet been finalized.  New prices will appear with the grand opening announcement and will reflect our efforts to reduce and stabalize production cost.  We are accepting orders on a test basis only and currently require up to 3 weeks to fill these orders.  Please email us at click2detail@gmail.com before placing an order.  Thanks for your understanding as we refine our cutting edge processes.

]]> Collaborative Project with Aircraft In Miniature, Ltd. Click2detail is excited to announce that we are working in collaboration with UK-based Aircraft in Miniature Limited, manufacturers of the Transport Wings range of model aircraft kits. Transport Wings is a line of REALLY BIG 1:72 scale airliners and their military derivatives. Click2detail will be creating and releasing a number of print-on-demand Premium Detail Sets for the Transport Wings series.The detail sets will be designed to enhance this unique line of scale model kits and allow the serious modeler to add an unprecedented level of customization to their modeling projects.

]]> Same Great Products, New Smaller Size One of the great features of our product delivery system is the ability to offer the same products in multiple scales with ease.  Today we began adding re-scaled versions of some of our popular products.  The various B-36 conversion sets are now available in 1:144 scale.  Not only have they been re-scaled but they\'ve also been adjusted to fit the Hobby Craft B-36 kit.  In the coming days we\'ll be adding re-scaled versions (scaled up as well as scaled down) of many of the other products.  If you ever have a need for parts in custom scale, just ask.  We will be happy to accommodate.

]]> Evolving Designs: 1:72 Mig-25 Detailed Exhausts We\'ve all seen it happen.  A model kit is hotly anticipated by the marketplace.  The company releases the kit and within days a hobbyist spots an inaccuracy.  In the old days--like last year-- everyone was just stuck with the kit.  After-market companies might release a resin correction set, but the problem was built into the kit.  Period. 

 

Well, that has all changed.  Now, without any tooling or inventory to worry about we can simply change the CAD file and all future prints will contain the improvements or correcitons.  Today we released the much anticipated update to our most popular product, the 1:72 scale Mig-25 Detailed Exhausts (Short Type).  The updated CAD file incorporates feedback from several customers and includes redesigned flameholders that more accurately represent the real things.  We\'ve also shortened the outer petals and made a small change that results in a cleaner print with less support-contact roughness on the inside of the cans.
