1:350 Convair T-29 Flying Classroom
The Convair T-29 Flying Classroom was used by both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy as trainers and transports, entering service with the U.S Air Force in 1950 as a navigation and radar trainer. Two years later the improved T-29B introduced a pressurized cabin with accommodation for ten navigation students and four student radar operators. The T-29 remained in service until the mid 1970s. This 1:350 Scale in-flight model of the T-29 includes spinning propellers. The model was designed to be suspended on a one sixteenth inch rod as if in flight, and so a hole has been incorporated into the underside of the fuselage to accommodate the rod.
